Why We Doo

Local

Zoo Doo was founded as a way to change the way our community uses organic waste and to promote good stewardship of the environment. Composting is also a great way to decrease our use of fossil fuels, while creating healthier diets by reducing the petrochemical fertilizers in our soil and food chain.

Nourishment

Unlike chemical fertilizers, Zoo Doo’s biodiversity creates a more complete nutrient and mineral profile. It also improves both physical condition and fertility of any soil. Promoting healthier plants by improving aeration, root penetration, and water retention.

Environment

Composting recycles organic resources while conserving landfill space. Every year Zoo Doo prevents thousands of pounds in animal waste from ending up in city landfills.
